Just to introduce ourselves, we are a fourth generation, family-owned paint, wall covering, window treatment, and hardware business. We have served New York with quality products and fast dependable service since 1896. We opened our first store in Brooklyn and expanded to our current location 50 years ago. We cater to both wholesale and retail trade by opening our store at 6:00AM, six days a week.
When you deal with Schatz, you are speaking with people who have knowledge of the products we sell. If we don't have access to what you need, we will be glad to direct you to the right source, at the right price. Need it in a hurry? Just call, we will bend over backwards to help you in those "emergency" situations.
All of our customers know that when you deal with us, we take care of you. Not only do we stock several major paint lines, including Benjamin Moore, Pratt & Lambert, and General Coatings, but we also have over 1,500 wall covering books in the store, with over 3,000 patterns in stock and access to any wall covering on the market. In addition, we are distributors of Hunter Douglas window treatments, as well as stock blinds.
